Like the girl from the Uniform Project , one dress for 365 days worn all kinds of different ways. Well I wouldn't suggest something quite so drastic for every day gals but the project is an amazing, creative exercise in sustainable fashion. That you can be fashionably responsible with your wardrobe.
I am really into this concept. Good quality pieces that will last forever are key to a good wardrobe. I am tired of wasting my money and being entirely over pieces in my closet and looking back and saying, I should have known better about that zebra printed chiffon number and feeling ashamed of having rocked it with so much spirit.
It may be my age, almost 30, but I want to redefine my style and refine my purchases to educated and well thought out ones, being less wasteful with my shopping choices, and save some cash for my anti wrinkle accupuncture savings plan and I want to feel good about my wardrobe again and never be caught dead in something I will be embarrassed about a few months later.
