I rencently went to Toronto an dstayed at the Galdstone hotel on Queen street.
I am in love with this boutique hotel! It is so charming and has that clean luxury hotel vibe with an artsy and eco-conscious ahead of the game kind of vibe.
Each room is designed by a different artist in a different theme. I stayed in this woodsy themed room, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, I lay awake smiling ear to ear for a while and then slept like a baby. You also get organic natural soaps and shampoos that smell like heaven.
They have an antique elevator and an elevator operator to take you up to your floor. It is magical. The art and vibe of this builing is great and soothing. I had brunch the next day with my friend Kristen in their cafe downstairs. I would love to live at the Gladstone. I will be going back in March and trying out another of their themed rooms. I highly recommend it!
