I had the opportunity to work at Fairyesque in Montreal as a design and production assistant and to learn from fashion designer Nicole Picard.
Not only did she teach me the inner workings and allow me hands on experience she later became my mentor and provided me so much more valuable knowledge and emotional support when I was creating my own company and first collections.
I have been inspired by her work and talent and her openess to mentoring and supporting new talent. She is a self made, independent woman.
She has run her own boutique and done many collections, she is still a huge support to me.
She made it all happen herself and is now helping others with their own visions.
Her clothing is very fairy like, and has been on Ugly Betty and part of Montreal Fashion Weeks and sold in lots and lots of stores. Check out her collections on her website !
